Second Chance Critter Rescue was formed by a high school student (myself) for the purpose of making a difference in animal's lives and children's. Please do realize that this is not an official rescue. I do work with official rescues that a times take in any critter(s) that I need help with.
You can call it what you want, it is a rescue. Taking in animals who aren't properly cared for, not given enough attention, living in poor condition, social problems, or the owners can't care for them, are given a second chance when given up.
All animals are rehomed with all supplies given and if they are left with nothing I make sure they have something to go with to their new owners. NO ANIMAL IS TURNED DOWN. I make no profit what so ever from doing this! I work 3 hrs 4 days a week just to provide for these animals. The donation fee does not cover the enitre costs invested in these animals.
The mission of this rescue is to provide a safe home for these animals. Along with a second chance for these pets some kids are given the chance to receive help. I rehome animals who have the chance to become what I call "therapy pets". They go to kids in need! Kids who are deaf, blind, autistic, special educated, or just are ready for their first pet get the chance to have an animal that will work with them. These animals that are suited for this are all UTD on vet visits and are all extremely well mannered/cared for.
These animals all deserve a second chance in life. Please consider adopting from another rescue or this one. Animals all accross the world are in need of homes. Don't adopt from a petstore, do some justice and save a life!
